Faculty Academic Advisors

Available to current BSc General, BSc/BEd and all Biological Sciences students

Faculty Academic Advisors in the Student Services Office can assist you with:

  • Degree requirements
  • Changes to program of study
  • Declaring or changing a major and/or minor
  • Graduation requirements
  • Academic standing
  • Course withdrawals
  • University regulations: appeal procedures, missed final exams etc.
Academic Advising

There are two ways to access advising help (in addition to email)

1. Virtual one-on-one advising appointments through Google Meets.  You can book an appointment through our website.

2. Our office front counter is also open. Stop by and we will be happy to answer any general questions you have.  Join the que or pop by and join in person.

Department Advisors

Available to BSc Specialization and BSc Honors students

Departmental Advisors are available to help students currently registered in their associated Specialization and Honors degrees. They can assist with:

  • Program-specific questions
  • Course selection
  • Approved options
  • Research opportunities
  • and other related inquiries.


NOTE: Honors and Specialization Biological Sciences students can see Faculty Academic Advisors for course planning and degree programs.
