TUM Exchange Visit

German Research Visit

• Any M.Sc. or Ph.D. student who wants to travel to TUM in Munich, Germany on a Research Visit will need to submit an ATUMS Exchange Scholarship Form (contact the ATUMS Program Coordinator for details)
  • Deadline: 10-12 weeks prior to the desired travel dates

• Travel bursaries will be awarded to students who are successful in their request to travel to Germany on a Research Visit

• Successful M.Sc. students will visit and work for 1 period of approximately 3-months at TUM in Munich, Germany
  • Shorter research visits are possible under extenuating circumstances (contact the Program Coordinator for more information).

• Successful Ph.D. students will visit and work for 2 periods of approximately 3-months at TUM in Munich, Germany
  • Shorter research visits are possible under extenuating circumstances (contact the Program Coordinator for more information).

• Upon returning from their Research Visit all ATUMS exchange students will submit a 3-5 page written report summarizing their international experience and give a public presentation either at a Seasonal Meeting or to an ATUMS audience within 4 weeks of their return (whichever comes first).
