PTJC are happy to host Asian Studies Brown Bag Series.
We are now planning to expand this to all Asianists, including graduate students. On campus, there are many "groups" that organize lunch-time talks, such as Wirth's European Cafe and CLC's Brown Bag. Such networks are very important for increasing our presence on campus and showcasing academic achievement. We will adopt a similar style to conference presentations (20-25 minute talks, followed by Q&A). You can use this opportunity to practice your papers for conferences or other talks.
