The Week in Review: Feb. 12, 2021

This week, U of A health expertise and innovation figured prominently on the local, provincial and national stages. Researchers made strides toward preventing COVID-19 outbreaks in long-term care homes, understanding how the pandemic is affecting vulnerable patients with kidney disease and improving immune therapy against breast cancer. And as the High Level Bridge lights up in red this Valentine's Day weekend, a nursing professor is combining research and advocacy to raise awareness of women's heart health.
