The University of Alberta's Faculty of Extension and the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications at MacEwan University signed a Letter of Intent today in the Atrium of Enterprise Square.
With this joint initiative, the Graduate Program in Communications and Technology (University of Alberta) and the Bachelor of Communication Studies at MacEwan University will seek out opportunities to collaborate in the areas of learning pathway initiatives, capacity building, research and special events with the intent to enrich the learning environment for our students and the communities we serve.
Dr. Katy Campbell, Dean of the Faculty of Extension and Dr. Denise Roy, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications signed on behalf of their institutions. Also attending the signing were Dr. Lesley Vermeer (Chair, Communications Studies, MacEwan) Dr. Ray Rosales (Associate Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications, MacEwan), Dr. Gordon Gow, Director, Communications and Technology, UAlberta) and Dr. Ann Curry (Professor, Communications and Technology, UAlberta)
