From March 17th to 20th the Department will be hosting a visit by Professor John Dobbins (University of Virginia). Professor Dobbins is coming here in the first place as an official AIA speaker and will be giving the following public lecture:

Professor Dobbins has worked for many years as an archaeologist at Pompeii ans is director of the Pompeii Forum Project. He is the author, with Pedar Foss, of The World of Pompeii (Routledge 2008).
