Eligibility
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Superior Academic Achievement.
- Given to students whose research aligns with the current research portfolios of the WGRF.
- Registered in a Doctoral program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences.
- Research into Plant Biosystems that fits with the WGRF research areas as posted on the WGRF website.
- Based on academic achievement and research potential.
- Students may hold the scholarship twice.
How to apply
By Nomination Only: Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty) and will be part of a competitive adjudication. The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
