- Master's or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the Uof A
- Nominee must be newly admitted
- Program of study relates to research and information transfer in physical education and/or movement literacy, with emphasis on the health benefits and health risk reduction in children and youth with special needs
- Selected on the basis of academic qualifications
- Selected on the basis of letters of reference
- Selected on the basis of research potential
- Selected on the basis of the capacity to disseminate research outcomes to the public, professionals and families through innovative methods
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
