Simone Demers-Collins Graduate Travel Scholarship in Agriculture
Eligibility
- Superior academic achievement
- Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Science
- Agriculture
- Based on academic achievement
- This scholarship will be given to students attending a scientific conference to present a paper or poster related to their research
- The caliber of the conference will be considered
- Given to students studying in the area of Nutrition, as it relates to agriculture, first. If no suitable candidate can be found, it can be given to a student within the Dept. of Human Ecology who is studying agriculture
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
