Eligibility
- Superior Academic Achievement
- Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
- Selection is based on academic standing
- Selection is based on demonstrated excellence in the student's area of research
- The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong desire to pursue full-time research, north of the 60th parallel, particularly in the Canadian Arctic, upon graduation
- Preference will be given to a nominee whose research interest is in environmental earth studies north of the 60th parallel, particularly in the Canadian Arctic
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
