Eligibility

  • Satisfactory academic standing
  • Students must be in the first or second year of their masters program
  • Recipients must be registered in the Master of Public Health or Master of Science degree
  • Preference given to students from an equity deserving group, including individuals who have lived experience of health inequity
  • Selection based on academic achievement
  • Selection based on demonstrated involvement in addressing health inequities through research and or community outreach
  • Open to Canadian citizens
  • Open to permanent residents
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in masters programs
  • Open to part time and full time registered students


How to apply

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
