BMO Financial Group Graduate Scholarship
Eligibility
- Superior Academic Achievement (minimum GPA equivalent to a 3.5 on the University of Alberta grading scale
- PhD or Thesis-based Master's program
- Awarded to a nominee registered in, or admitted to a graduate program at the University of Alberta
- All disciplines are eligible for funding
- Awarded on the basis of superior academic achievement (minimum grade point average equivalent to a 3.5 on the University of Alberta grading scale
- Awarded on the basis of demonstrated research ability or research potential
- This award is payable in September
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty) and will be part of a competitive adjudication. The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
