Physiotherapy + Massage Therapy
Appointments available Monday to Thursday, 7 am-7 pm and Fridays, 7 am-4 pm
A doctor's referral is not required. However, patients are encouraged to check with their supplemental health insurance provider to determine if a referral is required for cost reimbursement.
If your injury is related to a motor vehicle accident or a workplace accident or if you have had a recent fracture or surgery, please inform the receptionist.
What to bring:
- A comfortable pair of shorts
- A t-shirt and/or a sports bra (if appropriate)
- Your Alberta Health Care card (first appointment only)
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your first appointment to permit registration and completion of any necessary forms. Alternatively, find all intake forms here.
Sport + Exercise Medicine Physician
Appointments available Monday to Friday, 7 am-4 pm
Appointments are available by medical referral, usually from your family physician. Staff and students at the U of A can obtain a referral from a physician at the University Health Centre. Your doctor's office must fax our referral form to 780-407-5667.
What to bring:
- For a lower-body injury, bring shorts
- For an upper-body injury, bring a sports bra (if appropriate) and/or a sleeveless shirt
- Your Alberta or other provincial health care card

Orthotic + Brace Services
Appointments can be made for Thursday mornings
Referrals by a health care professional may be required for health care coverage.
