The University of Alberta in partnership with the City of Edmonton is pursuing the concept of a community arena to be located on the University of Alberta South Campus. Please join the University of Alberta and the City of Edmonton for the first of two open houses to review site options, operating intentions and public use. University of Alberta and City of Edmonton representatives will be on hand to answer questions.

In addition to general planning information, the University of Alberta is seeking feedback in the following areas:

  • Site development
  • Concept planning and
  • Design guidelines


The City of Edmonton will be looking for feedback on the following:

  • Time available for public/community use
  • Rates
  • Parking
