Practices and Strategies for Teaching and Learning During Crisis

This session will review the recently developed resource on Teaching During Global and Geopolitical Crisis, including an overview of the trauma-informed teaching and community care principles that informed its development. Participants will be invited to share the values that guide their teaching and to imagine ways that they might update their teaching materials and/or practices in line with this approach. The session is open to educators across the University of Alberta community and represents a starting point in crucial and timely conversations about capacity-building, accountability, and care.
