Communities of Practice and Care

This panel and community conversation, facilitated by the Centre for Teaching and Learning, is being offered as a part of the Universities in Times of Crisis - Conversations Across Differences series from the Office of the Vice-Provost, EDI.

In this session, educators from across the University of Alberta will share their experiences with and strategies for holding space for students as whole people in the classroom, facilitating difficult conversations during times of crisis and uncertainty, and embodying and prioritizing caring pedagogies. Attendees will be given an opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences as we collaboratively imagine how to nurture relational, thoughtful, and accountable classroom communities.
