AI often helps us in translating languages and in fixing grammatical errors. However, AI models still are not commonly used for helping software developers write programs.

In this lunch and learn, assistant professor Thibaud Lutellier will discuss recent advancements using AI models to automatically fix bugs and security issues in software. Lutellier will explain how existing AI models have been adapted to fix bugs, compare how new models improve the AI and explore both the capacities and limits of these new models.

Online and in-person.
