Hiring announcement: Enrolment Management Service Partners

Dear Colleagues,
We have concluded our search for the Enrolment Management Service Partners within the Office of the Registrar. We were pleased to have representatives from all colleges and stand-alone faculties participate in the hiring process. These are critical roles that will be essential connectors and supports for end-to-end undergraduate enrolment planning and management. I am pleased and excited to announce the appointments of the following individuals as our new Enrolment Management Service Partners starting August 30, 2021:
Jennifer Alabiso will support the College of Social Sciences and Humanities & Faculty of Native Studies. Jennifer comes from the Office of the Registrar and has held the position of Manager, Applicant Services over three years, co-managing the largest unit of the Office of the Registrar. Jennifer has an overarching commitment to Equity and Inclusion work, extensive Leadership and Human Resource training and experience, and strong strategic planning skills.
Jim Bohun will support the College of Health Sciences and campuses (Augustana, CSJ). Jim comes from the Faculty of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences (ALES), and has held the position of Assistant Dean (Academic and Student Programs) for over 11 years. Jim has over twenty years as a senior administrative leader at the University of Alberta. Jim was accountable for the planning, design, implementation, and management of effective and efficient services related to enrolment management for 12 diverse undergraduate programs and graduate programs in four departments for ALES. Having worked in a senior role in both a central unit and a Faculty, Jim possesses a broad view of enrolment management and how it supports the core mandate of the University.
Nicole Dyck will support the College of Natural and Applied Sciences. Nicole comes from the Faculty of Engineering where she has held the position of Director, Programs and Planning for over two years. Nicole has extensive experience in the development and implementation of national and international recruitment and enrolment management strategies for both the Faculty of Engineering and the University of Alberta with a particular focus on EDI, decolonization, and the recruitment and retention of underrepresented populations. Nicole has acted as a senior-level advisor on all enrolment management matters in the Faculty of Engineering.
This group has over 45 years of experience in enrolment at the U of A and we are thrilled to have them take on these roles.
