Hiring announcement: Manager, Internal Communications (Students)

External Relations is pleased to announce that Julia Jones-Bourque has been hired as the new Manager, Internal Communications (Students). Reporting to Lindsay Bliss, Director, Internal Communications, the Internal Communications Managers will work in close collaboration with senior leaders across the External Relations portfolio, academic and administrative leaders across the university, partners in the colleges and faculties, and with colleagues in the Centres of Expertise to deliver integrated lifecycle and project communications for students, staff, and faculty audiences.

Most recently leading the marketing and communications team at University of Alberta International, Julia brings more than 15 years of experience in student communications at the U of A. With past experience leading communications in the Office of the Dean of Students and collaborative projects with the Office of the Registrar, Julia is a student service communications specialist with extensive team leadership experience.
