Hiring announcement: Creative Director

After an extensive search, External Relations is pleased to announce that Marlene Miceli will be joining the Marketing Team and the Digital + Creative Centre as our new Creative Director, starting January 4th.
Marlene’s extensive experience as a career copywriter spans television, radio, digital advertising, direct marketing, out of home, and specialty media. For the past five years, she has been the Associate Creative Director behind the ATB Financial brand and creative platform where she led a team of professionals responsible for developing creative strategy and managing campaign execution for hundreds of projects. Before joining ATB, Marlene was creative director and copywriter with her own agency, IT CAME FROM MARS for 13 years. Marlene has worked on some of the biggest brands in Alberta, including Alley Kat Brewing Co., Full House Lottery, AMA, The Lois Hole Hospital for Women, The Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, and Booster Juice, just to name a few. Marlene also has post-secondary experience working with Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Athabasca University.
Marlene joins the Marketing Team at a pivotal moment for the University of Alberta. With the launch of our new brand, her ability to build award winning and results-oriented brands will be a guiding force in building our creative presence in new and compelling ways.
