MORNINGSTAR WILLIER
BA IN NATIVE STUDIES, 2022
“As a student in the Faculty of Native Studies I have been given so much support and guidance. The people I have met through the faculty and its programming continue to positively impact me in my day-to-day life. This community has helped me achieve a level of academic and professional confidence that I would not have been able to develop on my own. I am grateful for my research opportunities with the Indigenous Prison Arts and Education Project. It has shown me the positive impact that art and lifelong learning can have on growth and healing — which is a practice I find myself engaging in regularly.”
