When the University Commons building opens, it will be one of the most accessible spaces on campus, with a central location on North Campus, between Main Quad and Arts and Business Quad and in close proximity to transit.
With sight lines that travel all the way through the space, the building will have at-grade or accessible entrances on all sides, all-gender washrooms and spaces on every floor for all members of the community, including students, faculty, staff and visitors.
In this video preview, learn more from Abner Monteiro, Past President, Students’ Union, about how student perspectives have shaped uCommons, including how it will be dedicated to core, supportive, student services with all the student-centric services available in one place.
