Brock Davidiuk — inducted to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
Chen Chen — Runner-up in the North American Society for Sport Management Student Research Competition.
Clayton Deutsch — received an Excellence in Education Award from the Association of Professional engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
Colleen Cassady St. Clair — received the Faculty of Science Graduate Student Mentorship Award.
Dennis Hall — received Killam Research Fellowship for his work streamlining transformations of alcohols down to a single step.
Erik Rosolowsky — received the Faculty of Science Excellent Teaching Award.
Felisa Pador — was a top 10 finalist in this year’s Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec awards.
Fred Colbourne — received the Faculty of Science Graduate Student Mentorship Award.
Frederick E. Clark — recipient of an Associate Dean of Learning and Innovation Bestie in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
Gary Faulkner — received the Faculty of Engineering Career Leadership Award.
Graeme Craig — signed a one-year contract with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.
Hongbo Zeng — recipient of the NSERC E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowship in recognition of his achievements in fundamental research.
Lianne Lefsrud — presented with the Women in Engineering and GeoScience Champion Award.
Lloyd Steier — ranked 4th most productive author in the scientific research of family business succession based on this international study.
Maya Wheelock — received the Associate Dean of Learning and Innovation Bestie in Physics.
Ming Zuo — recognized with the Faculty of Engineering Research Career Award.
Ratmir Derda — received the Faculty of Science Research Award.
Sadaf Ahmed — received the Associate Dean of Learning and Innovation Bestie in Computing Science.
Sandra Ziolkowski — received the Associate Dean of Learning and Innovation Bestie in Psychology.
Tasha Hubbard — won Best Canadian Feature Documentary award at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival for her film nipawistamasowin: We Will Stand Up.
Terry Gannon and Vladimir Troitsky — received the Associate Dean of Learning and Innovation Bestie in Mathematical and Statistical Sciences.
Vladimir Michaelis — received the Associate Dean of Learning and Innovation Bestie in Chemistry.
