It's only September, but already we've experienced the full range of what Alberta has to offer in the weather department - from sun to snow to the green and golds of fall! And through it all, the U of A community has remained vibrant and eager to get the school year going.
Here's a look back at September 2018 in photos:

New Augustana students took part in a number of orientation sessions during their first few weeks of class to get acquainted with their peers and our campus, and to introduce them to important concepts relative to University life. These sessions included making dreamcatchers with the Augustana Aboriginal Student's Office, practicing yoga (which is offered through campus recreation), attending an informational session on how to deal with new roommates, and more! | Images courtesy of Tia Lalani.
A Day of Service
First year students living in residence capped off their first week before classes with the annual Day of Service. Their activities out in the community included the Roots for Trees planting event, where about 250 students planted over 1800 trees near Fulton Drive. Other placements took place at the Green and Gold Garden, Edmonton Organic Growers Guild, Zoe's Animal Rescue, iHuman, and the Boys and Girls club.
