The 96th (Virtual) Convocation of St. Stephen’s College
The 96th (Virtual) Convocation of St. Stephen’s College
Congratulations to the 2020 Graduating Class of St. Stephen’s College!!
The College’s first-ever virtual convocation ceremony is now streaming on our website. We invite you to gather together with your loved ones wherever you are, enjoy the ceremony, and bask in the successes and joy of our graduating students. While viewing the ceremony, we invite you also to peruse the 2020 Graduate Profiles section of the Convocation website, where you can read about and get to know many of the individuals graduating today.
Some highlights of our virtual convocation ceremony include the following: The convocation address is delivered by Rev. Dr. Kristine Lund (RP), who was one of the founding faculty members of our Psychotherapy and Spirituality program. Of course, the highlight of this ceremony is when our Department Chairs present each graduand to our Co-Chancellors Colm and Lynda O’Carroll, who in turn confer the degrees, diplomas, and certificates. And, toward the end of the ceremony, members of the St. Stephen’s board, senate, program committees, and faculty bring notes of congratulations to the graduating class.
All of us at the College are disappointed that we cannot gather together in person for the 96 th Annual Convocation. We feel this disappointment, as I know many of you feel it too. Our intention is that, once the pandemic abates and we are able again to hold large gatherings, we can host an event at the College to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates in person.
From everyone at St. Stephen’s and in the College community, congratulations and warm celebrations to all our 2020 graduates!!
