Recognizing our 2023 internal peer reviewers

The college is grateful for the guidance and expertise of so many professors who participated in the internal peer review process

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the 35 individuals from across our college who volunteered their time and expertise as pre-submission internal peer reviewers for the 2023 SSHRC Insight Grant (IG) and Insight Development Grant (IDG) competitions.

“I’m just immensely grateful,” says Professor Joanna Harrington, the college’s associate dean research. “We’re so fortunate to have so many colleagues from a diversity of disciplines provide both constructive feedback, and a few kind words of support and reassurance, to other faculty members as they finalize their grant applications for submission. Having faculty help faculty is so valuable for these competitions, and we genuinely want to say thanks, and thanks again.”
