Tips for Success with Job Postings
Post jobs early - The earlier you post, the larger the talent pool that is available to apply to the position. We recommend posting on our job board 4-6 months before the position is set to begin.
Provide a longer time frame for applications - we recommend providing an application time frame of no less than two weeks to allow students to respond. Students may not check the job board regularly and as a result, having a longer time frame will allow more students to see your posting and apply.
Be realistic about the position description - Do not embellish the job posting in order to attract more students. Be specific about the duties that the student will be completing and the qualifications you are looking for.
