Upgrade to bike cages beginning November 27

In alignment with the U of A Safety and Security Committee’s work to make our campus safer, Parking Services is working to add more cages and also to upgrade the current bike cages to a stronger fencing material which is much more difficult to breach.

To prepare for the upgrade of the current cages bike cage permit holders will be asked to move their bicycle to another bike cage for the duration of each cage’s fencing work and to please be prepared to move the bicycle as notices go out.

The work is slated to start the week of November 27th and is expected to last for 3 to 4 weeks.

Please note that bicycles that are not moved may be left exposed for the duration of the work.
