What do you miss most about being a U of A student? The freedom of being a student. It's way easier to skip class and make it up later than it is to skip work and not get fired!

Favourite campus memory? Hanging out with friends in SUB.

What's the one piece of advice you'd give a current U of A student? Don't rush it. I finished my degree in four years and wish I had taken my time, enrolled in a larger variety of courses, and spent more time enjoying the social aspect.

Biggest life lesson learned on campus? Life is rarely about being the best or the smartest, so don't let any student, course, or prof intimidate you. Yes it's going to be hard at times and yes there will always likely be someone smarter than you...but who cares?! Work hard, learn as much as you can, and keep moving forward.

Favourite U of A Tradition? Bears and Pandas games on the weekend and then up to RATT!

Favourite course/teacher? Music 101...the only course I ever got a 9 in!

If you got one university do-over, what would it be? I would spread out my courses over a 5 year period so I could relax a little bit more and not feel so stressed. Again, what's the rush?! You only have work to look forward to!

What did you do to help you stay sane during exam time? Made a study schedule to help organize my time and tried to work out regularly.

Convocation question: what should all new grads know? Taking the time and putting the work into getting that degree was one of the smartest decisions you've ever made. You will probably end up looking back at your years at the U of A as some of the best in your life! At some point all the knowledge you've gained at the U of A will come into play.
