Congrats to Chao Chen!

Congratulations to second-year UAlberta medical student (and former LKSAVI trainee and technician) Chao Chen, who was recently honoured with a Canadian Medical Hall of Fame Award. 

This award is given annually to students with an established record of community leadership, superior communication skills and demonstrated interest in advancing knowledge. Among his notable achievements to date, Chao has worked closely with Nobel Laureate Dr. Michael Houghton and Dr. Lorne Tyrrell, as a co-inventor of a prophylactic vaccine for Hepatitis C virus (HCV).
