Faculty of Science Dean's Reception

The Faculty of Science Dean’s Reception is an opportunity for alumni and friends to engage in its continuing legacy. This year’s event will include a light reception hosted by Declan Ali, dean of the Faculty of Science.

Learn about the groundbreaking research being conducted in the field of artificial intelligence at the U of A and hear directly about the impact of this research from students at the centre of it. This event will take place prior to the Hurtig Lecture on the Future of Canada: Canada’s role in Shaping our AI Future and guests are encouraged to register for both. This pre-reception will conclude in time for guests to travel the short distance to the U of A Days capstone event at the Timms Centre.
