Eligibility
We are looking for nominees who have demonstrated the following:
Professional Achievement
Nominees must have a proven track record of significant contributions to the business world. This includes noteworthy achievements, innovations, and advancements in their respective industries.
Impact on Large-Scale Business
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated leadership and influence in the management and growth of large-scale businesses. This may include leadership roles in corporations or the establishment and expansion of enterprises with a substantial market presence.
Canadian Citizenship
Nominees must be Canadian citizens, showcasing a commitment to the advancement of Canadian business values and contributing to the country's economic landscape.
Innovation and Adaptability
Nominees should be recognized for their innovative approaches, adaptability to changing business landscapes, and the ability to lead businesses through challenges, fostering resilience and growth.
Ethical Leadership
Nominees must exhibit a commitment to ethical business practices, demonstrating a dedication to corporate responsibility, sustainability, and social impact.
Industry Recognition
Consideration will be given to nominees who have received industry accolades, awards, or recognition for their outstanding contributions, further highlighting their impact on the business world.
Nominees are not required to be U of A graduates.
The nomination selection committee is composed of representatives from the Business Advisory Council and University of Alberta faculty and staff.
