On November 5, our American neighbours will cast their ballot in what many see as the most consequential Presidential Election in generations. In this Lunch & Learn, join Augustana professors Clark Banack, Sandra Rein and Ian Wilson, along with some Augustana students, as we discuss the levels of political polarization on display in the United States, the role of religion in the campaign, the foreign policy implications, and what to watch for on election night as the candidates vie for 270 Electoral College votes.
Clark Banack, PhD. is the Director of the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities and an Assistant Professor of Political Studies at the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta.Sandra Rein, PhD. is the Associate Dean, Research and Professor of Social Sciences at the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta.
Ian Wilson, PhD. is an Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta.
