Energy Systems Curriculum Committee
To graduate/undergraduate students
Call for Energy Systems Curriculum Committee members
The Energy Systems Signature Area is a cross-disciplinary research and teaching network, focused on generating innovations, discussions and collaborations to guide society through the energy transition. One of our mandates is to create a strong energy systems curriculum that focuses on the full life cycle of energy systems development, management and adaptation to sustain society and the environment, providing a foundation for energy systems evolution.
The Energy Systems Curriculum Committee will provide recommendations and advice on curriculum matters to the Director of the Energy Systems Signature Area. We are seeking the following committee members from the UofA student population:
- One graduate student in an energy systems graduate program.
- One undergraduate student in an energy systems related undergraduate program.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to be involved in forming the direction of curriculum and having a long lasting effect on energy teaching at the UofA. Members will be appointed for one year by the Director of the Energy Systems Signature Area.
Expressions of interest are due by February 12, 2021. Please email your CV and a paragraph on why you want to be part of the committee to energy.systems@ualberta.ca.
