The BDes graduating class of 2021 presents a selection of work from their final portfolios.
"The 2020-2021 academic year has been an interesting ride for us all. With the rise of COVID-19 and the increasing importance of social distancing, we’ve had to start from scratch in many ways. The pandemic has made a significant impact on the lives of many, and will continue to be a factor of global affairs after we leave. This has been our chance to re-set, re-build; re-everything.
"As such, this year’s Bachelor of Design grad show is focused on making the very best out of unprecedented and unusual times. As a prefix, "re-" represents doing something again. To design is to be constantly making improvements, sometimes incremental, sometimes radical. The design process is circular; to improve on designs, they need to be re-visited and re-vised.
"This year we’ve had the opportunity to re-everything, and that’s exactly what we’re here to do."
