Drama 457 is an advanced course offered by the Department of Drama that serves as a platform for upper-year BA and BA/Education Drama students to exercise the cumulative knowledge they have gained over the course of their degrees. Drawing on methods used in Devised and Performer Created Theatre, the class has spent the last three months collectively producing this full-scale production. The company of students creates, performs, designs, produces, and administers the entire production under the Direction of Faculty Professor, Michael Kennard.
The Drama 457 class has been hard at work this semester mounting their production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.

The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is a hilarious, complex, and compelling play by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Stephen Adly Guirgis. Set in Purgatory and featuring A-list religious figures from Satan to Mother Teresa, the play follows the trial of one of Jesus' twelve disciples, Judas Iscariot, the most reviled sinner in biblical history, in his appeal to lift his "eternal damnation" sentence.
The production runs March 20th-24th, 2019 at the Timms Centre for the Arts Second Playing Space. Admission for this production is FREE, however, you must sign up at the Department of Drama Office (FAB 3-146) to reserve a seat.
