Given the current public health environment, the safest approach for our community during this spring and summer will be to continue with a combination of remote and in-person learning.
A combination of remote and in-person learning
This coming Spring and Summer 2021, the University of Alberta will continue to primarily offer our courses remotely. As public health restrictions allow we will continue to explore all opportunities to increase our roster of in-person course offerings to maximize student learning opportunities.
Similar to the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 semesters, we will prioritize in-person learning where it is essential for program completion or progression. A detailed list of Spring and Summer 2021 in-person offerings will be available by early March.
Gradually opening campus spaces
We remain committed to safely opening physical campus spaces as much as public health measures allow and as it makes sense for our university community. In-person services, such as computer labs, libraries, student services, residence spaces, and retail services will continue to be available for use as is possible under public health restrictions; and, all student services continue to offer remote options, particularly for students who are still unable to travel internationally.
More to come on Campus Life
