Scanning Electron Microscopy Laboratory
The Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Laboratory consists of one instrument: an analytical, low vacuum JEOL JSM-6010LA InTouchScope equipped with a Silicon Drift Detector for energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis and mapping with a resolution of 125 eV. A gold sputter coater is also available on a fee per use basis.
The SEM Lab is located in the sub-basement (room 2A) of the Gunning/Lemieux Chemistry Centre.
