The Canadian Business Leader Award (CBLA), established and developed by the Alberta School of Business and now presented by the U of A, is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated leadership, business acumen and success, an entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, and a commitment to the community.

As president and CEO of CN since February 2022, she has swiftly reshaped CN’s operations, leveraging nearly 30 years of expertise from her dynamic career at Canadian Pacific Railway and her influential role at TC Energy. With visionary leadership and fearless decision-making, Tracy has boosted operational efficiency and earned the trust of investors — all while fostering a strong, collaborative workforce. Beyond her impact in the transportation industry, she serves as vice-chair of the Business Council of Canada, committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
