The abstract concept of the grid is everywhere. It categorizes, measures and divides. This series of painted and woven works considers the grid as a connection between ancient weaving techniques and modern technology. Kimberley McCollum visually examines the relationships between digital and analog, old and new, the hand and the machine. This exhibition is the final visual presentation for the degree of Master of Fine Arts in Painting.
