Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama Production Degree Program Guide

Students will partner with directing and acting collaborators in the fulfillment of creative and artistic aims for multiple productions. In each specialty, students amass creative and artistic sensibilities, technical skills and managerial acumen. Entrance to this program is competitive with a maximum of 6 spots in each incoming class. You must meet both Academic and Artistic requirements based on an interview and a review of additional materials.

There are 3 paths in this program:

  • Design: creating costumes, lighting arrangements, set designs and new media elements
  • Stage Management: overseeing all productions and working closely with directors to make their artistic and technical vision come to life
  • Technical Production: mastering the technical elements that go into creating a theatre production.

Each path presents students with different course offerings, learning opportunities, and connections with instructors and industry experts.
