Pembina Hall's Student Council!These are the people responsible for running life inside Pembina. There are always opportunities to get involved, both formally by joining council, or informally! You don't have to be a member to run an event, come to a meeting, or bring a problem or concern to council. Any resident is welcome at any meeting. November 3, 2002 November 17, 2002 December 1, 2002 January 6, 2003 January 20, 2003 February 24, 2003 March 20, 2003 A couple of meetings are missing... Summer Council May 11, 2003 June 1, 2003 President - The basic duties include: chairing PHSA meetings, as well as attending RHA meetings twice a month, making constitutional ammendments with the help of the PHSA as necessary, working one shift at all major in-house functions, and representing Pembina Hall to different organizations. Vice-President/Secretary - The basic duties include: assisting the President in various initiatives, keeping PHSA minutes and correspondences, setting meeting agenda, representing Pembina Hall to different organizations with/in place of the President, and working one shift at all major in-house functions. Treasurer - The basic duties include: managing the fridge rental program, keeping the PHSA books in order, helping the PHSA set the budget, and working one shift at all major in-house functions. Floor Reps One for each of the 4 floors. They are elected by each floor's residents, and their basic duties include: facilitating communication between PHSA and their floor, ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchens on their floor, passing out light bulbs, and working one shift at all major in-house functions. 1st Floor- 2nd Floor- 3rd Floor- 4th Floor- Arts Rep - The basic duties include: planning arts related events, keeping residents informed of cultural events within Edmonton and the University, and working one shift at all major in-house functions. Sports Rep - The basic duties include: acting as liaison with Campus Rec (this includes a monthly meeting), keeping residents informed of intramural sporting events and signup schedules, and working one shift at all major in-house functions. (Ideally, 1 male and 1 female) Health and Wellness Rep - The basic duties include: acting as liaison with Student Health and Career & Placement services, planning health related events, keeping students informed of current health issues, and working one shift at all major in-house functions. Cultural Diversity Rep - The basic duties include: acting as liaison with the International Centre and Native Students' Centre, planning culturally related events and keeping residents informed of related programs and events within Edmonton and the University, and working one shift at all major in-house functions. Newsletter Editor - The basic duties include: putting together and distributing the monthly newsletter. Yearbook Editor - The basic duties include: collecting photos and resident input, compiling, publishing and ensuring distribution of the annual yearbook.
