Executive Assistant to the Principal and Dean

Full time permanent position (37.5 hours/week). Annual salary range currently $37,752-$45,120. College hours Monday to Friday (8:30am-4:30pm). The Executive Assistant (EA) provides administrative support for the Principal and Dean, focusing on organizing the work of that office and coordinating with faculty, staff and external stakeholders. The EA is responsible for senior level administrative functions and works closely with the Faculty, Registrar, Board, volunteers, donors, and agencies in regular communication with the College. This position also involves maintaining the College website, and providing administrative support for a degree program, which includes processing admissions and maintaining student records.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; post-secondary business coursework preferred.
- Five years of related experience, preferably in an educational environment.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office applications required; familiarity with Dreamweaver would be an asset. Willingness and ability to learn new software programs as required.
- Fast and accurate keyboarding skills and ability to take reliable minutes
- Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision, and to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Prompt and professional personal, telephone and email communication.
